DMARC RECORD LOOKUP

DMARC record checker

Enter a domain to see its DMARC record as published in public DNS, split into tags such as policy and report addresses. DMARC tells receivers what the domain owner wants done with mail that fails SPF and DKIM alignment.

Enter a domain only, without https:// or a path.

We try up to 34 common DKIM selectors per lookup. SPF provider hints move likely selectors to the front; your optional selector is tried first. This list is not complete.

ABOUT DMARC

What is a DMARC record?

A DMARC record is a TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com that begins with v=DMARC1. It sets a policy and can ask receivers to send reports.

Common tags

  • p= is the policy: none (monitor only), quarantine or reject.
  • rua= is where aggregate reports are sent, usually a mailto: address.
  • pct= is the percentage of mail the policy applies to, and sp= is the policy for subdomains.
  • adkim= and aspf= set strict or relaxed alignment.

Moving from p=none to a stricter policy affects real mail delivery. Review your aggregate reports and your sending services first. This site only shows what is published and does not say what policy you should use.
