DKIM RECORD LOOKUP
DKIM record checker
Enter a domain to look for DKIM public keys at the listed common selectors and an optional selector you enter. DKIM lets a sending domain sign its mail so receivers can verify the signature against a key published in DNS.
LOOKUP RESULTS
DKIM is checked at up to 34 selectors per lookup, including your optional selector. A domain may use another selector.
ABOUT DKIM
What is a DKIM record?
A DKIM key is published as a TXT record at selector._domainkey.yourdomain.com. The selector is a label chosen by whoever sends your mail, so different providers use different selectors.
What this checker can and cannot find
- It checks up to 34 selectors, prioritizing SPF provider hints and the optional selector you enter. The list is not complete. Some services, including Amazon SES, issue account-specific selectors.
- Many services use other selectors. “No record found” here means nothing was published at the checked names, not that DKIM is absent.
- To find the real selector, look at the
s=value in the DKIM-Signature header of a message you received from that domain.
FAQ
Common questions
What is a DKIM selector?
A label that identifies which key to look up. The full DNS name is selector._domainkey.domain.
Why does my domain show no DKIM record?
No record was found at the selectors we tried. Your provider may use a different selector. Check the s= value in a message header from your domain.
Can this tell me if DKIM is working?
No. It shows whether a key is published at a selector. Whether messages are signed correctly depends on your sending service.
